2 August 2011 at 8:51 pm
@pachonrhodes ahh…obviously macbook air will catch the eye abit more due to its portablity…for everyday normal use the air is great…but if you’re only going to have a main computer…go for the pro
..lasts much longer in my opionion.
2 August 2011 at 9:32 pm
What about the new macbook air 11.6 1.8Ghz intel I7 and 4Gb RAM ? (It shouldn’t be new in USA, but I live in Brasil so…) It should be quite faster than yours
2 August 2011 at 9:40 pm

3 August 2011 at 12:42 am
@FastCuber1 Macbook pro has a Facetime HD camera and the macbook air only has a SD Facetime camera
3 August 2011 at 1:18 am
@sabrezeta99 The macbook air would be sufficient, however as the white macbook was discontinued by Apple yesterday, a 13″ macbook pro is cheaper than the base model 13″ macbook air
3 August 2011 at 1:30 am
Is it akward to carry the macbook air in a back back with its shape? please help
3 August 2011 at 2:06 am
@agincourtlancer
Same dilemma here…
3 August 2011 at 2:29 am

3 August 2011 at 3:25 am
I got a question im 12 And i earned up enough money to buy my self a macbook. But thats not it I really want to know which one is better. I use my old laptop to go on youtube, facebook, and flash games. Thank you
3 August 2011 at 3:27 am
THIS IS A MB NOT A MBP
3 August 2011 at 3:38 am
kinda strange to compare a computer which is 2 years old and another one which is less than a year old..
sure isn’t fair… it would be better to do it with the brand new macbook pro.
still, the MBA is amazingly quick
gonna buy the MBA 11 !
3 August 2011 at 4:18 am

3 August 2011 at 4:37 am

3 August 2011 at 5:27 am
You muted yourself
3 August 2011 at 6:02 am
the pro booted itunes faster…not the air
3 August 2011 at 6:45 am
@DetroitBORG So, the MBPro has better specs, besides the SSD, and the Air is still faster ?
3 August 2011 at 7:45 am
You have forgotten to mention that the MBP is user upgradabel (SSD, dual HDD/SSD)
3 August 2011 at 8:43 am
@12ll2 Ram is the computers memory. The way I describe it to people is a large desk. The larger the desk, the more you can work on at once. 4GB of memory will give your computer more space to do more things at once. It won’t make your computer faster, but it will prevent it from slowing down while doing multiple things.
3 August 2011 at 9:21 am
do u recomend the air for having itunes, wathcing movies and downloading music, watching videos and using the internet.. like is it faster ? whitch one did u get and whats ur opinion????
plz answer
3 August 2011 at 10:13 am
@12ll2 Well it basically means the extra memory it has to run applications. I don’t all about it but 4gb is better than 2gb
3 August 2011 at 11:01 am
hey yo.. i dont really get the 2gb and 4gb ram part.. can someone tell me whats the difference?
3 August 2011 at 11:17 am
ears wag at 0:04
3 August 2011 at 11:54 am

3 August 2011 at 12:40 pm
@thari69 It dosen’t. Well not anymore at least.
3 August 2011 at 1:20 pm
Well I am not your “regular” user I am mac’s regular user. Macs are for editing and what not. Not for gaming! ( But i liked the video)
3 August 2011 at 1:57 pm
Didnt know that the new Macbook Pro’s had a lower resolution compared to the macbook air! Thanks for the comparison!
3 August 2011 at 2:15 pm

3 August 2011 at 3:46 pm
the best review. fast thumbs up definitely
3 August 2011 at 4:31 pm
@Stealthknife12 COD 4 on MBA is alright check his videos, he has one while hes playing on it
3 August 2011 at 4:54 pm
Actually APPLE said the battery life is 7 hours on the Macbook Pro 13 inch now. They are using a different method of testing the battery life. So the macbook air 13 and macbook pro 13 inch have the same amount of battery life
3 August 2011 at 5:42 pm
Macbook Air 13 inch has 1440×900 while the Macbook Pro has a lower screen resolution. I dont get it. I might go with the Macbook Air 13 inch because the screen display is way better than the macbook pro 13 inch. Thumbs up if you agree
3 August 2011 at 6:34 pm
just curious…but you do know that you can get a 2.13 GHz C2D on the 256GB version right? other than that super video
3 August 2011 at 7:24 pm
Hey thanks mate you did really help me out thanks !
3 August 2011 at 7:39 pm
@TheCesar872 All Macs come with iLife, but iWork or Office is a separate purchase. The new Pro is great and so is the Air, but it’s up to you.
3 August 2011 at 8:00 pm

3 August 2011 at 11:06 pm
@dunnystuff changed my mind. should i get the 13 pro or 13 air? im going to be taking it places and i already have a 15 inch asus for heavier stuff
3 August 2011 at 11:11 pm
Not sure which one to get. MacBook Pro or MacBook Air? I’m using it for school so I’ll need Microsoft Office, but I’ll occasionally be using it for iMovie and iPhoto. And I will also be using iTunes. Does the air come with iLife?
