How to optimize your web site for SEO

First what the heck is SEO? Is it an acronym for a weird cult or a weight loss product? No it simple stands for search engine optimization. Lets talk about several things you can do to optimize your on page search engine optimization efforts or SEO. Do you have H1 tags set up with your main key word?
Or maybe what is your main keyword that you have in your post or page. Is it something like “Dog training” and if it is make sure that you have an H1 tag around it. Basically what you would do is put <h1>dog training</h1> at the end. Make sure to do this in your html editor. This is easy in word press as you will have your visual editor and your html editor or tab.

Another tip is when posting an image set your keyword in your alt tag. Try and do the same thing with your keyword again but wrap it in H2 tags so you can again optimize for your

on page SEO efforts.

Installing several essential plugins will definitely help you, I few that I like to use are all in one SEO, Goggle XML sitemaps so that when goggle finds your web site it can be easy indexed.

Another tip I recommend is to go into your permalinks structure which is located under settings and change it to this /%postname%/ this way it will show the name of your post as opposed to a page id number which will help to get it ranked faster. Also another great tip is to try and link to another page or post. If you do not have another page or post then link back to your post. Other on page factors are H3 tags again some where on your page and bolding a few keywords are going to help your seo efforts

Also when optimizing for your keyword try and place it in your very last sentence on your post so again you will optimize for your on page SEO efforts. Doing some of the above will help you get indexed quickly by goggle and really make your
